Product/part development and design take time, and so does the documentation of each step, so the product and process can be improved. Do you have a first sketch on paper, or do you need to improve your existing product or its design? See what documentation is needed and what we can help you with if you don't have the correct documents.
1. I don't have the documentation
Sometimes it's obvious, and sometimes it just happens. Unfortunately, you do not yet have comprehensive documents for the project. But you have:
An idea, thought, or idea of functionality
Situation or manufactured part that needs to be solved or improved
The final part without production documentation that needs to be completed
Work-in-progress materials such as a sketch, 3D model, and 2D drawing, according to which the work-in-progress project cannot be produced (price, deadlines, functionality, visuals) and need to be optimized
Whether you have the part or not, the documentation must be completed and prepared for production before production begins, and now you can see how it is done.
Creating the documentation with Holymer
Whether your project is in any of the stages mentioned above, we will help you put everything together. So what can you expect from us?
We will meet and listen to your idea or the situation it wants to solve. Subsequently, we will prepare a concept and consultations as agreed before.
We will prepare a presentation of the solution proposal and create a 3D model, considering the product/project as a whole. And that includes functionality, price, and deadlines. This way, we get the necessary type and format of the documents.
We create a 2D drawing and define the material and production technology.
We will create an assembly manual.
We define the norms that a part/product must meet.
We will complete the documentation and either start production together or hand it over.
2. I have the documentation
Your project or product is already out there in some form, but you want to improve it or finish everything, and you have one or more of the following:
3D model in the format: parasolid, STP, IGS – production formats; STL – format for 3D print
2D drawings in the format: DWG, TXF, PDF
Selected material, e.g.:
steel ČSN 11523 (1.0570) steel suitable for welding
aluminum alloy AW7075 - strong and light parts
plastic PA6 - wear-resistant material suitable for machining
stainless steel ČSN 17240 (1.4301) the most common material for the production of engineering parts
4. Selected production technology
right combination of technologies concerning the final functionality and desired properties of the parts and to meet specific standards
the need to choose the right materials for projects requiring the CE standard (material, safety features, solutions to situations such as power outages, etc.)
hardness, strength, abrasion resistance (abrasion resistance), part wear, chemical resistance, toughness
correct combination of surface treatment
production tolerances and visual requirements
5. Prepared assembly manual
6. Completed BOM
7. Selection of standardized, purchased parts
8. Price verification and market availability
We have something to build on if you have any of the points or more of them. First, we will meet, and we will go over your documents and, together with them, your needs and expectations. After that, we start producing together using selected technologies and the most suitable materials.
Don't know where to start or how good your materials are? Then, contact us, and we will look at everything together and figure out what to do next.
